Identification and classification of determinants of spillovers from foreign direct investment

This study aims at identification and prioritization of the determinants of spillovers from the foreign direct investment in Iran. In this regard, the literature is reviewed and the requirements are complied with to define factors and performance indicators, leading to identification of 22. The importance of these indicators has emerged through a questionnaire distributed among managers, experts and foreign experts. The data have been collected through exploratory factor analysis. Finally, the identified 22 indicators are studied in seven categories including technology, role of fdi, area, financing, infrastructure, nationality, and cultural groups.
