The Effect of Triple Knowledge Components on Entrepreneurial Intention of Agriculture Students at Jiroft University. Iran

Preparing Student with entrepreneurship intention is the first step in agriculture education, and knowledge and skills they have acquired at the university can be very effective in this area. This study analyzes the effect of triple knowledge components on entrepreneurial intention of the agriculture students at Jiroft University. The statistical population was composed of 137 agriculture students who had attended in entrepreneurship course (N= 137). Research tool was questionnaire and its validity and reliability was approved. To evaluate the filness of the latent variables and to test the research hypotheses, the structural equation modeling technique was applied through with LISREL(version 8.54). The results from confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the reliability and fitness of the latent variables of the research. Modeling showed that practical (t=2.02, γ=0.28) and compatibility (t=3.64, γ=0.55) knowledge explained 50% of the student's entrepreneurial intention. The results include acceptable achievement for higher education planners to improve triple knowledge components and the student's entrepreneurial intention.
