Comparison of cognitive functions of the brain in medical student's academic performance above and below

Abstract:
Background And Objective
The aim of this study was to compare the cognitive functions of the brain in medical student's academic performance was up and down.
Materials And Methods
The study sample consisted of all students in the Lorestan University of Medical Science. To select a sample size of 120 students with low academic performance through matched with 120 students with high academic performance sampling were selected. A questionnaire was used to gather information on cognitive abilities salvation. Data were analyzed using multivariate analysis of variance and all the SPSS19 was calculated by the software.
Results
The findings showed that individuals with high academic performance and low academic performance of all components of the cognitive functions of the brain and that there are significant differences, So that individuals with greater cognitive ability are high academic performance.
Conclusion
The results of this study have important implications in terms of improving the quality of teaching and learning, taking into account the cognitive abilities of the brain is associated.
