Tramadol, Synthesis and Identification

Tramadol is a compound with analgesic properties. It is mainly used for the management of postoperative, obstetric, and cancer pain, which belongs to the opioids group. According to the Iran Drug Control Headquarters this drug has one of the widely used opioids material. It has been reported that ages between 20-30 years had the highest rates of use, and the maximum effects were reported for these ages. Addicting use without a prescription of this drug causes spasm, liver dysfunction, heart and veins problem and death. Various methods can be used to evaluate the levels of Tramadol and its compounds in plasma and drugs. The purpose of this study was introducing of Tramadol, its synthesis and discussion about identification and measuring of Tramadol techniques.
