The Study of Pastoral Attentions in Response to the Problem of Emotional Evil

Abstract:
Emotional problem of evil appears when the believer confronts evil in his personal life. This type of problem is different from philosophical or logical problem of evil, but it is known as religious, emotional, and personal sourt of problem. While suffering, the believer feels to be alone & forgotten by his Lover God, which causes his distrustful to God; in this situation, he does not excpect any kind of justification, but strongly needs to receive the grace of God, His presence & attention. The suffered man looks for the God who had promised to take care of His servants. He complains why God has forgotten him, why He does not care about his suffering.Pastoral Care is one of the ways in Christianity to answer to emotional problem of evil. This approach is based on a type of theology that aims to mediate in the love of God for those who are suffering and need particular attention. Thus, it has some recommendations how to communicate with suffering people, & meanwhile it trains pastors to accompany these people in order to relieve their pain & help them to rebuild their trust in God.
