Abstract:
Nowadays the problem of soil and its erosion is one of the major debates inthe land use planning studies which has got the abundance of use indepartments such as basin watershed management، water resources، soil،continuity of the dams’ life، watershed and lots of other important areas. Sofar، different approaches and models including Fao، pesiac، etc have beeninvestigated and presented by the relevant experts in order to estimate theerosion rate. These approaches and models have evaluated several factorsand indicators such as soil، geology، slope، vegetation، land control، climate،etc and have obtained diverse results from their evaluation. Among themodels used for evaluating erosion dangers is SLEMSA. This modelincorporates the basic and simple data together and emphasizes on some ofimportant environmental relations especially the relations of vegetation، rainfall and erosion. This article، applying a descriptive-analytic approach and taking benefit fromSLEMSA model aims at evaluation and estimation of soil erosion rate inNorth East Plain of Bandar Abbas، Hassan Langi River Catchment. In this research، in order to estimate the erosion rate in Tang Shir watershed،first the topographic data، eroding and erosion of soil and vegetation weregathered and in the next step، the erosion rate was calculated in ton in hectareby incorporating all these data. The results of data analysis show that the slope parameters of the watershedand the kinetic energy of the rain play a crucial role in erosion rate indicatingthat the highest erosion rate has been detected in the northern parts of thewatershed which have the highest amount of slope and kinetic energy. Second، the lowest amount of erosion in the watershed was estimated 0. 09ton in hectare، the average amount 24. 9 ton in hectare and the whole amountof yearly sediment in the watershed was 1027710. 9.
