Duality of Death concept in Hedayat and Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe – American author – and Sadeq Hedayat – the Iranian writer – are two authors who have always thought and special attention to death and morbidity is the main subject of their works. What makes their works content similar to each other is the duality and conflict about the concept of death; this can be achieved, obtained and derived from their real character. That’s why such approach can be seen in their works and their stories heroes struggle with the fear and anxiety feelings. The present article studies the concept of death in Hedayat and Allan Poe’s works comparatively.
