Abstract:
By gaining awareness of the way in which media, especially the Internet, produce information, even children will be able to have greater autonomy in their world. In addition, the teachers and professors who gain the skills of media literacy can become influential information disseminators and eliminate the gap between educational and social programs and ultimately become vigilant and critical consumers and addressees. In this paper, an attempt has been made to study and explore the role of the media in creating conflict and emotional gap between generations and how to fill this gap by enhancing media literacy. Drawing a conclusion at the end, the paper offers some recommendations aimed at enriching the educational system and elevating teachers as cultural role players.
