A brief review on wastewater treatment by using nano materials

Message:
Abstract:
Water is most essential and strategic need of human. Today, regarding the industrial progress, population crunch, unreasonable deterioration of available resources and overuse, this generation is subjected to a chaotic water shortage. Moreover, the water pollution is a global problem, which needs an intensive and continuous policy and monitoring. There are ways to remove the industrial pollutant from wastewater. In this review, the emphasis has been made mostly on adsorption techniques; the nano surface active materials. These are the methods, recently proposed to remove some hazardous trace pollutants from wastewater as a novel technique. At this review, the nature of some surface active nano compounds are studied as the sorbents for toxic organic compounds. These are having very exceptional and excellent absorption properties as to trap a wide range of aromatic and hazardous molecules. At the end, it may be concluded that for mass water policies, the nanotechnology can be overlooked as an appropriate support for urbanization and industrialization.
