Abstract:
The study was conducted in order to select proper sites for bus stations in the city of Khorramabad. It is of descriptive-analytic in terms of content and studied items and of applied-developmental in terms of purpose. Primary data was collected by documentary and field research. In order to analyze data and to prepare maps, Arc GIS software was used. AnalyticNetworkProcess (ANP) and Fuzzy Logical model to weight the studied indices and to overlap and analyze data, respectively was used in this research. The research results showed that some existing bus stations in the city of Khorramabad are not in appropriate locations, compared with the standard distance of the proposed stations, and they need to be organized. Existing bus stations in the south part of the city and the ones in the northwest part of the city are far away from the existing standards for station spacing (300 to 600 m.), and need optimized localization. Also, the south part of the city is an inappropriate location where there are several bus stations, indicating unfavorable localization of the stations in the city of Khorramabad.
