Insurance and Social Security in Islam

Abstract:
This article reviews the history of Islamic insurance and its principles in Islamic societies and the major differences between conventional and Islamic insurance to commercial insurance follows. Now the debate is within the insurance industry it seems that the insurance cooperative as an alternative to public insurance industry is interest of policy makers.
