Supporting Women Victims of Terrorism in International Law: In the Light of Social and International Order

In reviewing terrorist incidents and considering women victim’s rights, we are facing massive and increasing violations of their fundamental and established rights. While solving their problems is the most important part of counter-terrorist measures, however this problem not only is this problem resolved, but rather women victims are also suffering great oppression. Accordingly, the main research question is that, why in today’s world in spite of some legal actions at international level, the necessary steps to fix the direct and indirect complications of terrorism on women and their fundamental rights are not taken? Why are we facing dramatic growth of such violence every year?
In answer to the above question, this article by using library method (descriptive - analytical) while investigating the substantive rules, tries to discover the strengths and weaknesses of international laws. Based on the results from this research, the suitable legal order to support and ensure the rights of women, which is emphasized in Article 28 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights is not provided. So strengthening the basic entity of human community i.e. the family is the first priority of the women's rights. At the same time domestic and international structures need to be transformed. In this paper, after explaining the ignored rights of women victims of terror at international law, the pivotal role of social and international order necessary for its realization have been mentioned.
