Views of strategic Navy in the future

Abstract:
Futurology is a host of attempts to visualize potential futurities and their programming by analyzing resources, patterns and stability and change factors. Futurology shows how the realities of “ tomorrow” are produced from the changes of “today” or from the keeping “today” unchanged. Futurology in strategic Navy, in fact, is the imagination of future in order to create backgrounds and infrastructure to make IRI Navy hold the command in the geostrategic region of Persian Gulf. By devising scenarios, the present article tries to show ideal and at the same time believable futures which is favorable for IRI Navy until 2025. Based on probabilities, IRI Navy will face four possible futures: Gray Navy (there is confrontation and lack of national defense capabilities on the part of IR Navy) Green Navy (there is confrontation and also national defensive capabilities on the part of IR Navy) Second Green Navy (there is certain competitive environment and lack of national defense capabilities on the part of IR Navy) Blue Navy (there is certain competitive environment and IR Navy has enough capabilities)
