Anot sounusualeventinTunisiain December 2010createda processthatin the following year, fourlong-standingregimescollapsedin Tunisia, Egypt, LibyaandYemen, one after another and others, such as Bahrain, Morocco, Algeriaand Jordanfacedserious challengesbywidespread popular protests.Therealities ofthese countries, especially the comparisonshows that, contrary to claims, the Arab revolutionshave been theresult ofa combination ofseveral factorswhich varies from one country to another and all of them can be explained under a general approach.Comparison of theserevolutionsalso indicatedthatexisting theoriesofrevolutionscan notprovidepersuasiveexplanation andexperimental validationofthetheoretical perspectivesto explainthese revolutionsare facedwithseriousproblems.Thisarticle, with respecttothisissue, attempts tocomparecountriesthroughTunisia, Egypt, Libya and Yemen(revolutionary cases) withAlgeria andMorocco(non-revolutionary case) pointstotheorizingthe revolution, especiallytheories offourthgenerationtheoriesthat emerged from the Islamicrevolution.
