The validity and reliability of the Persian version of the device to identify older people at risk for re-admission in emergency centers

ISAR screening tool aimed at seniors who are at risk of readmission to the emergency center is designed.
The study was conducted with the aim of evaluate the psychometric properties of the Persian version means "knowledge of older people at risk in emergency centers (ISAR)" in the ELDERLY Iran.
This was a prospective observational study. The number of initial sample of 190 people aged over 60 years were available for selection and were enrolled in emergency departments in Sabzevar. Data were collected using demographic questionnaire, tools ISAR, Barthel Index and GHQ-12 questionnaire at time intervals of 6 months after discharge samples collected and analyzed with SPSS-19 software statistical analysis was performed to evaluate the validity and reliability ISAR.
The content validity index (CVI) was calculated for the tools to 0/79. Kappa coefficient between the scores ISAR tool by 0/79 respectively, (0/001> P). Spearman correlation coefficient of multitasking (concurrent validity) ISAR tool with Barthel index 0/69, and six months later (predictive validity) validity of the GHQ-12 0/77 and 0/001> P was significant.
ISAR tool has good reliability and validity in Iranian elderly And Can be used as an auxiliary tool to identify older people at risk of readmission to the emergency centers (within six months after discharge), geriatric assessment tests in the list of Iran.
