Cyberspace, cultural and Islamic heritage

The increasing development of information and communication technologies in recent years on various aspects of human life is affected. One of the important areas of culture and values of culture. From this perspective, the increasing development of information and communication technologies and formation "lattice society" led to the transformation of cultural values in contemporary societies is often the most obvious example is the growth of secular-rational values and the values of self-expression or liberating. This study sought to investigate this process, the effect of traditional heritage and cultural values in relation to cyberspace in some Islamic countries is analyzed. The main question of this study is that the cyberspace what effect the transformation of cultural values in Islamic countries? In other words, the hypothesis is that the cyberspace is expanding and changing cultural values in accordance with the factors related to the firewall there. This theoretical study shows that different theoretical perspectives in relation to cyberspace and cultural values is categorized; The first group believes that with the arrival of technology, including communication technology, traditional values disappear and be replaced with new values. This process occurs in the whole world as one and matched that the outcome will be a convergence of values and culture in communities. The second group stressed the importance of cultural values in different societies and even intensify its full shelf life and resistance to change are emphasized. The third group believe that the increasing developments in globalization and communication technologies witnessed combining traditional and modern values will be in modern society. This theory emphasizes the importance of economic and cultural barriers to change and replace the value of humanity. Accordingly, changes in comparison with the rest of society, based on the theory firewall shows that such barriers in cyberspace impact on changes in the value of Iran's population are quite prominent. Methods this study is a secondary analysis using the World Values Survey carried out to Muslim countries.
