The Study of religious and political participation (The Case of Karaj citizens)

Political Participation because it was Thought that people have the right to Self-Determination What is the government representative of the people and must be accountable to their people. Manifestation of this reservation was the ruler's power depends on citizen participation in their own destiny. This study, according to the strong emphasis of Islam on teamwork and participation in community affairs; to study the relationship between religiosity and political participation.
In this study, a survey on 400 residents of the town of Karaj, as were administered to the results demonstrate that there is a significant relationship between religiosity and political participation. According to the Pearson Correlation Coefficient between dimensions ritual, outcomes, empirical religious beliefs and political participation is the positive relationship established. ./ 245 adjusted coefficient of determination equal to about 24 /5 of the dependent variable show that political participation can be explained by the independent variables. The results indicate that, rituals and religious consequence most significant contribution to the prediction factors are high dispersion political participation.
