The effectiveness of treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (type washing) through religious preferential encoding correction with exposure and response prevention

Abstract:
The present research aimed to examine the effectiveness of combination therapy exposure and response prevention with religious preferential encoding correction in reduces symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder(OCD).This research was performed in the framework of the single case of the type of AB design on the three participants with obsessive-compulsive disorder voluntarily sampling . All participants, for evaluating the effect of treatment filled Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory (MOCI).The treatment showed a significant reduction in the symptoms of contamination-impurity, checking, slow-repetition except scale doubt duty that shows intervention was not effective in this variable.The percentage change for all the symptoms of OCD indicate the significant effect of the intervention on the obsessive-compulsive symptoms.According to these findings, exposure and response prevention with religious preferential encoding correction was suggested as an effective intervention in reduction of symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder.
