Study Methods to Detect Buried Mines

Abstract:
Unfortunately, in the case of mines planted in the battle, displacement, destruction and renewing are not simply possible because maps of mined areas are not generally available. For this reason, after the end of the campaign, a large number of military personnel and innocent civilians had been victims of mines and a lot of local people suffered from financial problems and had been killed. In this paper, safe technologies of detection of buried individual mines as has been studied passive methods. Some of these technologies included infrared methods, X-ray backscattering, nuclear quadrupole resonance, electrical impedance thermography and methods of neutron noted. The results showed that despite effective approaches to minesweepers, none of these methods alone had one hundred percent performance. So it is better to use a combination of methods.
