Investigation a decade of Researches concerning intervention in Family and Marital Conflict

The study carried out aimed to investigation the scientometric of published articles in recent decade in field of family and marital conflicts. At first by applying cross sectional-descriptive research method all Persian articles in humanity sciences and medical journals with the keywords of family, marital, couple, marriage, spouse, divorce, discord, conflict, contrast, domestic violence, child abuse, in adjustment, violence, and escape were selected to investigation. After elimination the repeated articles, 1221 articles from 158 journals remained. By separating under study, domains it revealed that 86 articles were proceed to report the intervention in family and marital conflict. The findings indicated that most interventions were administered in group method by attending the spouses. In addition, the most used therapeutic approach was cognitive behavioral, the most applied research design was experimental design with pre-test post-test and control group, the city that most intervention carried out in was Tehran and most places of data collection were counseling centers. Also in the financial support section, only seven percent of articles had a sponsor. Hence by considering the divorce rate, and with contemplation in study findings, this finding can be used in order to increase the number and the quality of interventions and experimental studies to decrease spouses and family conflicts at country level.
