Managing Emotions from the Perspective of Nahj Al-Balagha

Abstract:
The importance and necessity of effective management of emotions, caused the formation of a wide range of attitudes toward the management of emotions. Due to the difference of opinions in one hand and a deep look of Ali (PBUH), to human relations issue in Nahj Al-Balaghe on the other hand, examining emotion management from the perspective of Imam Ali (AS) is doubly necessary. For the utilizing the practical manner of Imam Ali (AS), especially his attention to the instance of affection and managing it, in dealing with social problems, could be a good model for the entire population. Accordingly this study attempts to investigate the components of the management of emotions from the point of view of Nahj Al-Balagha by using descriptive and library method. The results of this study suggests that cognition and emotion management is possible with the use of cognitive and behavioral techniques and will enhance the power of analysis, control and maintaining a balance living circumstances, and totally will pass an important level of earthly and heavenly bliss of human.
