Unemployment assessment with emphasis on job skills mismatch (With particular e mphasis on the country level Vastany Khorasan razavi)
Abstract:
The causes of unemployment, lack of fit between the skills available and the needs for skills in the community. Better fit labor skills and jobs, lower unemployment, higher productivity and competitiveness leads more. In this study, the mismatch between skills and job role has been on unemployment. In this regard and in order to quantify the problem of lack of skills, the information contained in the plan for 84 year's labor force survey from spring to winter in 89 years will be used throughout the country. According to the results, lack of skills for women is much higher than the rate for men in the same time is the lack of skills. In general, women's index of non-matching skills for about three or four times more than the same indicator for men. The findings suggest that young people are more affected by lack of skill with the rate for adults the figure is small (always less than 10.04% of ¬ is), the other for all age groups and gender, education less than the size is reduced too much while training, especially for young people aged 15-29 increased during the study period shows. Finally, based on the findings mismatch between skills and significant positive effect on the unemployment rate is such that 1 percent increase in the index of skill mismatch leads to an increase in the unemployment rate is 0.08 percent.
