Basic communication skills and conflict management styles: The Study of physical education experts in Tehran Universities

Abstract:
In this paper, we tried to survey on communication skills relevance to physical education expert's quintuplet styles of Organizational Conflict Management (OCM). Descriptive- correlation method been used to attain this purpose. The 70 physical education expert in state universities of Tehran that were picked by simple random sampling has been evaluated. Data was gathered by Baron, j. (1981) communication skills questionnaire and to analysis them K-S test, Independent t-test, Repeated Measure ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient been used. The results indicated that there is no significant relationship between male and female experts nor in level of communication skills and its dimension and nor in CM styles. Pearson correlation coefficient test indicated that there is positive relation among avoiding, accommodating and dominating style with communication skills and its three dimensions – feedback, auditory and verbal. No correlation between integrating and compromising style with communication skills been sighted.
