Take a Look at Virtual Education in Iranian Educational System

Aim and The growing spread of knowledge in the new century, especially ICT, has brought about dramatic changes in various fields of human life. Among these changes are developments in the field of education and learning. In the age of information explosion, which is also called the Axis of Knowledge, traditional methods of training with old wrists no be able to meet the human's limitless needs of knowledge and information. Therefore, the attention to a new approach in the field of education is indispensable. The emergence of virtual education as a powerful tool has greatly enhanced the concern of educational planners in this regard. This paper, by descriptive-analytic method, examines the background of virtual education, discusses the concepts, features, advantages and types of virtual education, and compares this kind of training with traditional education and challenges the challenges of developing virtual education.
