Assessment of Prime School's Organizational Health

Aim and Organizational health can be considered as a very important factor in facilitating and accelerating the achievement of school goals and missions. The purpose of this study is verification of prime school’s organizational health.
This research – method is descriptional –survey and the population is all prime schools of region 8 of Tehran (115 schools). Clustering Sampling was done using of Korgesi and Morgan table and 92 schools were chosen and asked 355 teachers. Data were collected using of Pardakhtchi and coworkers’ questionnaire that it’s reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's alpha (0.98) and it’scontent validity was verified by the professors and experts.
Findings: Among the ten components of organizational health, the components of the protection of Islamic values and emphasis on quality, had the highest level and component of school facilities, had the lowest. The organizational health of elementary school girls is better than boy's elementary schools.
Understanding the health of an organization can help us choose and manage appropriate management methods for its effectiveness. So to make school a desirable place, we need to understand the current situation of schools and identify the factors affecting the desirability of this environment.
