Comparison of the resilience and religiosity in employed women and homemakers

Abstract:
One of the developments of social life in the new age is the changes in the lives of women. The employment of women however, among these developments, has a special role and role due to its concrete effects on the social and individual scene. The aim of this study was to investigate and compare religious and family resilience among employment and unemployed women in Karaj city. This study was a causal-comparative design. The target population consisted of all female elementary school teachers and homemakers that living in Karaj city in 1395. Multi-stage cluster sampling method was used. Data were collected with Connor- Davidson Resilience Scale (2003) and Glock- Stark religiosity questionnaire (1965). T-test was used to data analyze. Two independent T test results showed that there are significant differences in teachers and unemployed women on religion and family resiliency; this means that teacher's women are higher than unemployed women in religious(P
