The Reasons for NATO's Stability and Mobility in New Security Environment after the Cold War

By the end of the cold war many believed that the NATO’s life was over and with disappearance of the Soviet Union, NATO is no longer any reason for concern. In contrast, other analysts pointed to reshape the international system followed by the emergence of new threats as the main reasons will support NATO’s survival after the cold war. Considering this intro in the mind, the main argument of this research is that the necessity for keeping balance of power in the form of balance of new threats, is the most important argument will justify NATO’s survival after the cold war.
