The Status of Imam al-Husayn in Shiite Quran Exegeses

The Prophet Muhammad has left behind two priceless entities for people, i.e., the Holy Quran, and the Infallible Ahl al-Bayt. As the fifth member of the Infallible members of the Prophet's Cloak, Imam al-Husayn has since received special attention and status. Besides, several Quranic verses were revealed in his right. Excerpts of Quranic studies range them to vary between 128 to 250 verses. Some of such verses were revealed explicitly in the case of Imam al-Husayn, while others may refer to him rather implicitly. The present paper deals with such questions.
