Meta-analysis of the relationship between religious orientation and mental health

various studies have shown the relationship between religious orientation and mental health and physical health .meta-analysis ith integrating results from various researches,specifies Relationship between the variables.this Research is intended to use the meta-analytic model to examine the relevance of mental health to religious orientation.
We reviewed records of all research related to the relationship between religious orientation and mental health in the Journal of Research Persian have been published 10 research that were accepted in methodological procedure selected and meta-analysis was done. Research tool was the Czech List of meta analysis and Cohen's effect size method was used to achieve the overall relationship
the results showed that The effect size of relationship between religious orientation and mental health equal to 428/0 was obtained and by conversion of the d value of z in normal distribution curve according to the Cohen's criteria is a high value.
Considering the high relationship between religious orientation and mental health programs we can develop an adequate programs toan individual's religious orientation towards health promotion and treatment.
