An Introduction to the Methodology for Understanding Imam Khomeini's Political Thought

Studying Imam Khomeini`s political thought and its course of development is known as one main subject for researchers in politics. Appearance of IR in Iran, in addition to its political-social consequences, led to a new political thought on the basis of Imam Khomeini`s view on political Islam. The thought, therefore, is very notable with regard to its methodology, principles and effects. Knowing the thought rightly would lead to its stability and fruitfulness in the world of Islam. Pathologically viewing, preventing its probable distortion and misleading comments may be regarded as the main and essential duty of Imam`s true followers and those believing in him. On this basis, the question of the paper follows as: how may one know Imam`s thought truly and prevent any distortion in the field? The hypothesis lies in the fact that knowing and introducing the indicators of Imam`s political thought and its opponents would lead to its stability and spread.
