Abstract:
The investigation and identification of principles and basics for electrostatic discharge is one of the most important possibly hazards in the field of high- energetic materials and other industries, in order to prevent the risk of explosions, as well as to consider effective solutions to control and reduce these risks. In this paper, the principles and mechanisms of electrostatic discharge, its types and the sensitivity of various types of high-energetic materials to electrostatic discharge have been studied first. Then, the method of assessing the electrostatic discharge phenomenon from the production, separation and accumulation of static charges to the requirements for occurrence of electrostatic discharge and the initiation of the existing combustible compounds and, finally, the occurrence of an explosion by ESD, and at the end the basics and principles of control and Reducing the dangers of static electricity to enhance safety in environments that work with highenereitic materials.
