Investigation the Effect of Different Magnetized Water Intensities on Quantitative and Qualitative Yield of Radish
Water shortages and over-exploitation of underground reservoirs have led to a reduction in water quality and quantity. Due to the increased efficiency of magnetized water based on the positive effects on plants, the present study was conducted to investigate the effect of various intensity magnetized water on radish plants yield in a research greenhouse of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad in 2017 as a completely randomized design a factorial with seven Treatments and three replications was performed. Treatments included ordinary water as control, magnetized water with intensities of 0.633, 0.367 and 0.12 Tesla, and two frequencies of 50 and 30 Hz. The results showed that magnetized water with an intensity of 0.633 Tesla and a frequency of 50 Hz could be selected as superior treatment because it increased 48% in shoot fresh weight, 42% in shoot dry weight, 53% in fresh weight tuber, 35% in dry weight of tuber, 46% in tuber mass, 50% in tuber circumference and 18% in chlorophyll a in 5% level compared to treatment. In general, the results showed that magnetized water had a significant and positive effect on the factors studied, as well as changes in the intensity of the magnetizad field could have different effects.
