The Role of Perception of Local Curriculum on Field Study Satisfaction in Students of Educational Sciences and Psychology in University of Birjand

Abstract:
The aim of the present study was to determine the relationship between perception of local curriculum and field study satisfaction. This study is descriptive and correlational. The research population consisted of 350 students of Educational Sciences and Psychology in University of Birjand. For cluster random sampling, 180 students were selected. Data collection was performed using two questionnaires on field study satisfaction and perception of local curriculum. Data analysis was performed employing Pearson’s correlation coefficient and multiple regression. The result showed that there is a significant relationship between perception of local curriculum and field study satisfaction. In predicting the field study satisfaction based on perception of local curriculum, findings showed that component of curriculum associated with society is field study satisfaction and other components were not statistically significant (p<0.01). Moreover, students’ perception of curriculum was in average level.
