Structural relationship pattern between psychological capital and national identity mediated by self-efficacy, social competence and civic culture of female students

The goal of this study is to present the structural relationship pattern between psychological capital and national identity mediated by self-efficacy, social competence and civic culture of female students in secondary high schools in Marand by using a correlational approach. The population consisted of all female students in secondary high schools (n=2252). Morgan table was used to determine the sample size. The number of participants was 330 students. In the present study, cluster sampling was used to sampling. The instruments included three standardized questionnaires: the national identity measurement questionnaire of Lotfabadi, the psychology capital questionnaire of Lutanz (PCQ) and civic culture questionnaire of Hemmati and Ahmadi. The results showed that social competence has significant effect on national identity mediated by civic culture. Psychological capital has not significant effect on national identity mediated by self-efficacy. Psychological capital has not significant effect on national identity. Psychological capital has significant effect on national identity mediated by social competence.
