Studying the Level of Conscience at Work and Assessing the Effective Organizational and Individual Factors on It

Abstract:
Purpose
The purpose of this study is to assess the level of conscience at work and organizational and individual factors affecting on it among the staff of Ministry of Energy.
Design/Methodology/Approach
To examine the hypotheses, 234 samples have been taken using random sampling method. The data collection tool in this study was a questionnaire. In order to investigate and analyze the data in the organizational factors section, Variance-Based Structural Equation Modeling was used and in the individual factors section, one-sample and independent-sample t-test, and one way ANOVA test were used.
ResearchFindings
The results showed that there is a significant positive relationship between conscience at work and job satisfaction, management style, job position, organizational justice and organizational participation. The relationship between conscience at work and work alienation is inversely significant. work alienation has the strongest correlation.
Limitaions & Consequences
The cross-sectional nature of the data reduces the confidence in the results. Future research should examine the differences in different groups and levels over time, and multilevel analysis should be used to better estimate the conscience at work, the influential factors on it .
Practical Consequences
Representing solutions for improving the conscience at work.
