In the Qajar era, due to developments in various political and cultural fields, major differences emerged in the values, thoughts, trends and practices of architecture and urbanization. These differences have occurred in all the components of a home from the time of arrival to other internal spaces. This diversity and variety, which has been largely influenced by the contrast between tradition and modernity in various fields, has been more in the field of residential architecture. These differences have occurred in all parts of a house since it arrived at other internal spaces. The research has been done to investigate the physical characteristics of the Qajar era mansions in Tehran and Shiraz, according to the architectural characteristics of each city, to answer the question of whether in a historical period has caused similarities between Architecture of all houses of that era? The research method in this research is descriptive-analytical, the method of collecting information in the literature and research background through library and documentary studies, and in the field studies by visiting and field surveys in the field of house architecture. Also, in the analysis and evaluation section with deductive logic, a comparative study of the houses of Tehran and Shiraz during the Qajar period has been studied. Finally, the result was that, due to the modernization of the people of Tehran (a factor exacerbating Tehran as the capital) and also due to the many journeys of courtiers to European countries, the architecture of Tehran largely merged with the style of European architecture and Even in many cases, Traditions have been ignored. Unlike Tehran, the city of Shiraz still adheres to its traditional architecture.
