Morphometric relationships genus Colutea L. (Fabaceae) in Iran

Abstract:

A multivariate statistical analysis was performed on morphological characters of Colutea L. species in Iran. Totally, 20 qualitative and quantitative morphological characters of species were studied. Statistical analyses were done by SPSS ver. 18.0 and different methods of multivariate statistical survey of cluster analysis (Ward) and ordination (PCA) was used. Using the results from morphological studies and Differential characteristics obtained in the principal component analysis, two components were introduced in the first component, shape and length of the seeds, traits and positive coefficient. Results of cluster analysis were confirmed by results principal components analysis.classification of cluster analysis was confirmed by principal component analysis and good variety of different traits to species based on similarities and differences have separated and morphological traits can identify and classify species of this genus is the systematic application.
