Abstract:

As a subject, the literary and artistic property is not new. Actually the intellectual and artistic artifacts of human thoughts and intellectual taste have a long history. What is new and noteworthy as an event is its legal orders in the social and cultural interactions of the contemporary world. This article aims at providing an overview of Islamic jurisprudence pertaining to literary and artistic property on the demand for jurisprudential dialogue.
