A researcher-made questionnaire based on Herzberg's two-factor theory consisting of 40 items in 11 parts, including five factors in the internal scope and six factors in the external scope, were used. Validity and reliability were confirmed by content validation and test-retest method in a two-week interval, respectively (r = 92). Scores were calculated for each statement and for each field in terms of importance. SPSS ver.18 software was used for statistical analysis using descriptive statistics, independent t-test and one way ANOVA.
Results
168 completed questionnaires received (88.88% of participation). “Wage” (95.5%) was the most important external scope, and the least important external scope was “Policy and Occupational Environmental Policy “(81.75%). Internal scope comparison showed that, "The nature of the work" (94%) was the most important internal scope, and the domain of "Independence and Occupational responsibility" was considered as the least important internal scope with 77.5 percent. By comparing the views of the participants with regard to gender, place of service, academic records and academic degree in terms of mean and standard deviation, a significant difference was observed in some of the external and internal scopes.(P value≥0.05)
