The Effects of Unfaithfulness in Islamic Perspective

Although the word “fervency” does not mentioned in the Quran, some words such as Hameih, Al-Zurir, Al-Shafun, and Al-Hazul are stated, instead. Fervency is one of the divine things that has been granted to all believers of God. Fervency means that the person is sensitive to the respect and privacy and the things that are interested in him; he is not indifferent to his family and his religion, and if he someone wants to invade his privacy; he will feel responsible and react strongly. In Quranic verses this adjective is emphasized through other words. Fervency is divided into two branches: good and bad. Some factors cause disappearance of this feature in human beings. When a person loses this feature where it needs to be manifested, protected and sympathized the family, the honor and the religion; it causes individual destruction and his family and society. This person is called cuckold and unfaithfulness.
