Frequency Analysis and Parametrics Estimation of Bubble Formation in Vertical Column
Frequency analysis is one of the most important methods to estimate parameters of bubble formation in vertical column. In the present article, the sound noises estimation model due to bubble generation in the vertical liquid column is upgraded by applying turbulence modeling. The combined model of RANS/LES to increase the CFD in bubble initiation is also applied. The frequency of bubble formation was studied and the model of frequency prediction is modified by adding the compressibility effect and proper extracting of acoustic data. The numerical simulation conducted in three dimensional space where the VOF method is used. Due to the importance of interface tracking in sound sources recognition and the problems which occur during adding LES model in the simulation, different interface reconstruction methods has been compared. High Resolution Interface Capturing scheme (HRIC) is selected as the best method. The results are verified by theoretical and empirical data. Furthermore it is shown natural frequency of bubble reduced due to bubbles size increased. By considering the compressibility effect, the obtained results are more accurate and the model behavior is more physical.
