Structural analysis of social factors related to theft in Isfahan with emphasis on preventive suggestions
Robbery is one of the social issues of today's human societies, which is a serious threat to many people in the community. The purpose of this study is to investigate the social factors associated with theft in Isfahan which has been conducted quantitatively and quantitatively. Of 3800 people in the population of Darband robbers, 348 people were selected by the Cochran formula as sample size. In order to compare the effects of independent variables on dependent research, several tests including variance analysis and correlation coefficients have been used. For model testing, structural equation modeling has been used. The results show that in the regression analysis, the adjusted adjustment coefficient is equal to 0.254, which suggests a statistical fact that 25% of the total number of thieves in the central prison of Esfahan is dependent on 15 independent variables: crime habitat, severity of poverty, Religious beliefs, education, age, foreign media, gender, facilitating the theft of tourists, value system, positive experience of robbery, popular prevention, police prevention, victim's negligence, facilitators of theft and physical space. In other words, independent variables estimate (predict) 25% of the variance of the dependent variable. In terms of modeling results, it can be said that up to 95% of the results of structural equation modeling and hypothesis testing are in line, Finally, preventive suggestions have been made for the crime of burglary.
