Prevention of social deviance has been considered in the field of sociology and psychology and many variables have been studied in this regard, religiosity and mental health are among the structures that have been discussed most in the research and the variable of social security feeling was raised later. Prevention of social deviation based on religiosity, social security feeling and mental health in female students at University of Qom.
From all college students in University of Qom were chosen 300 female students as samples by cluster sampling. In this study were used of some questionnaires as a Social Deviation (Serajzadeh & Poyafar, 2008), Religiosity (Serajzadeh, 1998), Social Security Feeling (Serajzadeh & Poyafar, 2008) and Mental Health (Goldberg & Hiller, 1972), and in this study for describe of data and other results was used Spss-22.
Results of Pearson correlation showed that correlations among all variables were significant. Regression result showed that outcome component of religious components, social security feeling, anxiety and problems in sleeping from mental health and faith component of religious components could predict of social deviation in female students in University of Qom.
This study, along with most other studies, has shown the importance of religiosity, social security feeling and mental health variables in preventing social deviance and it can be expected to reduce social deviance by emphasizing reinforcement in these areas.
