Presentation of the framework for evaluating the science and technology system in Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization
to evaluate science and technology in the agriculture domain, determination of specific indicators are necessary. The present study has been designed to provide a model (Science and Technology Assessment System) for evaluating science and technology of agriculture.
The stages of research based on the design science method. This method contains three basic steps in a mixed research frame. By using documentary study method, 404 related or general indicators were identified in the field of agriculture. In the Delphi technique, 271 indicators from 404 indicators were selected by agricultural experts. Finally, based on the frameworks of science and technology evaluation at the national and international levels, a framework for evaluating the science and technology system in Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization has been proposed.
In this research, 8 general categories of research and technology, production of technological products, genetic resources and biodiversity management, training, extension, human capital, financial and infrastructure have been proposed for the overall framework of the evaluation system of the science and technology indicators of the Agricultural Research, Education and Extension Organization.
Conclustion:
26 science and technology indicators in in the field of agriculture were approved by field experts. These indicators, with the priority between 1 and 2 and Kendall coordination coefficient more than 0.7, were in five main components of race, exploration, mapping, extensible findings and technology for the evaluation system model Agriculture. This template has the ability to implement and evaluate indicators in different time periods.
