Abstract:
In this research, the Fuzzy_ANP model has been applied to flood zoning of Urmia Chay basin. The variables studied are eight parameters that include: slope, vegetation density, elevation, precipitation, slope direction, distance from the river, land use and geology. The information layers are provided in ARC GiS and ENVI software, and the fuzzy ANP model has been used to weigh the variables. According to the results of the research, the southeastern parts of the basin are located in zones with high potential and very high due to low The presence of vegetation density, gradient, and type of formation, have been introduced as the flood of the tallest parts of the basin, which are respectively 66.17 and 37.36 from the basin area respectively. Low and very low potential sectors are the western part of the basin, often with agricultural use and gardens. These areas comprise 10.41 and 1.63% of the total area of the basin respectively.
