The Impact of On-The-Job Pilates Exercise training on Job performance and Absenteeism among the Female Employees of Urmia Electricity Distribution Company And Summited A Model Of Physical Activity Program At Work Place
The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of Pilates exercise on Job performance and Absenteeism and Summited a Model of Physical Activity Program at Work Place. This study is a kind of Semi-empirical in pre-test and post–test with control group. The population comprise all of female employees of electrical distribution company. The sample of this study was 40 people population that have been divided in two groups (20-test group) and (20-control group) samples by non-random method. The test group, during 8 weeks, per week 3 sections has been participated for 30 minutes in Pilates exercise but the control group has received any exercises. The data have been collected during two stages (pre-test- post-test) and by distributing the questionnaires of Absenteeism and job satisfaction (MSQ). The collected Data were analyzed by SPSS and with single variable covariance analysis (ANCOVA). Findings showed that in test-group, the job satisfaction increased and absenteeism decreased in comparison with control group. By considering this finding, it is concluded that the Pilates exercise affects on the job satisfaction and Absenteeism of female employees of electrical distribution company of Urmia city.
