Defining and explaining the concept of national and Iranian identity from Hafez's point of view
Identity in the literal sense means the truth and nature of something; Identity is the answer to the question of who and how to be. In another definition, identity is a set of basic social, cultural, psychological, biological and historical characteristics that identify the nature or essence of a group meaning the unity or similarity of its members with each other and Distinguish distinctly and acceptably from other groups and individuals belonging to a certain time and place. Hafez has been a scientist of research, discussion and discovery. Along with all philosophical, theological and jurisprudential sciences, he was familiar with the spirit of inquiry and poetic talent with the history of Iran and national and Iranian identity, Iranian ideas and with the Divan of Iranian poets, from the past to his own time. Hafez's poetry has been a clear and significant symbol of the national and Iranian identity of Iranians in the field of literature and poetry. Hafez believed in the three identities of love, algebra and confusion of identity, and this article tries to examine identity from Hafez's point of view with a descriptive-analytical method and with the help of library sources.
