"The Effectiveness of Mothers’ Compassion Focused Training on Behavioral problems in Theirs Preschool children with Neuropsychological/Developmental Learning Disabilities "
This study examined the effectiveness of Mothers’ Compassion focused training on Behavioral problems in Theirs Preschool children with neuropsychological/ developmental learning disabilities. This study employed a semi-experimental method and used a pre-test, post-test, and follow up design with experimental and control group. The population consisted of all mothers of pre-school children with neuropsychological/developmental learning disabilities in Mobarakeh Township during academic year of 2016-2017. By using convenience sampling method, 30 of them were selected and randomly were divided in to two experimental groups and one control group (n=15). The tools of this study were the checklist of signs of learning disabilities in pre-school children (Steele, 2004) and the Preschool Children’s Behavioral Problems (Shahim & Yousefi, 1999). The experimental group (children’s mothers) received 8 sessions of intervention (two session per week for 90 minutes).
