The Relationship between Transformational Leadership and Work Attitude with Job Performance Employees
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between transformational leadership and attitude with employees’ job performance in Shahid Salimi Power plant.
The research is applied and correlational. The statistical population consisted of 556 employees of Shahid Salimi Neka Power plant. The statistical sample was 228 participants who were randomly selected based on the Krejci and Morgan formula. Data were gathered by using three standard questionnaires of transformational leadership, work attitude and job performance. Their reliabilities were 0.73, 0.75 and 0.86 respectively by the use of Cronbach Alpha. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics including Pearson correlation coefficient and regression were used to analyze the data.
The results indicated that there is a positive and significant relationship between transformational leadership and work attitude with job performance of employees. Also, the contribution of each of the components of transformational leadership and work attitudes is different in predicting employees’ job performances.
Transformational leadership and job attitudes have an impact on employees' job performance and the components of transformational leadership and work attitudes can predict employees' job performances.
