The Sociological Study of the Relationship between Consumption of Cultural Goods and Social and judicial Security: A Case Study of the Students of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman

Abstract:

The present study investigates the relationship between the consumption of cultural goods and social and judicial security. The study is a survey and the population includes the students of Shahid Bahonar University of Kerman. The sampling has been based on a stratified sampling method and the sample size was 386 people calculated by Cochran formula. Reliability and validity were obtained through Cronbach's alpha and face validity. Confirmatory factor analysis has also been used to evaluate variables. The findings show that the predicting variables well estimate the dependent variables (judicial security, social security). Inferential findings show that there is a significant positive relationship between the consumption of cultural goods and social security and judicial security. The results of  regression analysis aldo show that  the consumption of cultural products has a significant effect on social security (beta = 0.18) and judicial security (beta = 0.47).
